Wan kiln Township in Jiangshan City is located in the suburbs. It is a national-level ecological township, a nationally recognized beautiful town, a provincially designated strong tourism township, and a provincially featured agritainment township. With beautiful surroundings and convenient transportation, it serves as both the “southeastern ecological barrier of Jiangcheng” and the “back garden of Jiangshan City.” The Moon Lake Leisure Tourism Area in Wan kiln Township covers Wan kiln Village, Hongshiqiao Village, and Dahe Village, with an administrative area of 46.5 square kilometers, 1,756 households, and a total population of 5,636. It is a national 3A-level scenic area.

The scenic area boasts abundant leisure tourism resources, including the large (Class II) national reservoir – Wan Kiln Reservoir, a provincial-level key cultural relics protection unit – the Dahe Ancient Kiln Site Cluster, two municipal-level cultural relics protection units, two provincially featured agritainment demonstration sites, two provincially featured tourism business households (sites), one three-star hotel, sixteen three-star or above agritainment establishments, 2,630 dining seats, nearly 400 beds, as well as eight eco-agricultural sightseeing projects and ten fruit-picking experiences. The average annual temperature is 17.0°C, forest coverage reaches 76%, PM2.5 concentration remains at good to excellent levels year-round, and the air quality is rated as excellent 100% of the time.
