Kaiming Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Kaiming Temple is one of the cultural attractions on Jianglang Mountain. The temple was first built during the Northern Song Dynasty in 1080 AD. It currently houses over 120 Buddha and bodhisattva statues, enjoys a thriving incense offering tradition, and attracts more than ten thousand worshippers annually during the Dragon Boat Festival.

The construction of the temple originated from a true story: in 944 AD, the eminent monk Yiyang from the Five Dynasties period piled stones to seal a rock niche on Jianglang Mountain and entered meditation. A year later, he emerged from meditation, with shoulder-length white hair and a radiant, ruddy complexion. The King of Wuyue bestowed upon him the title "Kaiming Chan Master." Later, the local people built a temple named after him.
