Oriented to the northeast. It has three sections from front to back, including the entrance hall, central hall, rear hall, and side wing rooms. The entrance hall is three bays wide with one bay on each wing; it features a triple-eaved wooden gate tower in front, which has local characteristics. The interior has a two-story structure. The entrance hall opens northward to a stage. The main hall is relatively tall, three bays wide, and eleven bays deep; the beams are made of thick timber with relatively delicate carvings. Its side wing rooms have single-eave hip-and-gable roofs, a feature unique among late Qing dynasty buildings in Jiangshan.

To the north is the Wenchang Pavilion, an auxiliary building of the ancestral hall, consisting of three bays and two sections.

The ancestral hall was rebuilt in the late Qing Dynasty. In addition to the ancestral hall itself, there are also school buildings constructed by the clan for education purposes in the early 20th century located to its south. The current preservation condition is relatively good.
