Facing south, the complex has three sections from front to back; the main gate is located at the southeast corner of the courtyard, single-bay with a double-sloped roof. The main building, Dageming Hall, was originally also used as a family school, hence it is also called Shuixing Pavilion or Wenchang Pavilion. The structure is a three-story pavilion with an octagonal pyramidal roof, featuring a column grid of inner and outer double slots using through pillars; the ground floor perimeter is a covered corridor. Behind the pavilion are three halls with double-sloped gable roofs combined with hip-and-gable elements, the central bay using five-rafter beams with single-step extensions front and back, totaling seven purlins, with painted beams and brackets. To the east of the rear hall is a small three-courtyard building, likely originally used as management quarters; in front of Dageming Hall is a water pond. Surrounded by green hills and fields, the environment is quite pleasant.

According to the inscription on the finial of Dageming Hall, “Built in the 46th year of Qianlong’s reign, Year of Xin Chou, Auspicious Day, Great Qing,” the building was constructed in the mid-Qing Dynasty. The entire architectural complex is neatly laid out, uniquely styled, especially with the combination of hip-and-gable and flush-gable roof forms, which is rarely seen elsewhere and holds significant value.
