Chai Village: Chai Village was formed through the merger of the former Chai Village, Cheganlong Village, and Xinjian Village. The village’s specialty agricultural products include bamboo, tea, and flowers and seedlings. It currently has 28 villager groups, with a total of 1,032 households and 3,470 residents. The village has 3,157 mu of arable land, including 3,011.7 mu of paddy fields and 145.3 mu of dry land; it also has 13,420 mu of forested land. In 2008, the total economic income was 31.15 million yuan, with village collective income amounting to 1.2744 million yuan (mainly from mountain land contract fees), and the per capita net income of farmers reached 4,643 yuan.
