The Zhangcun Vernacular Architecture is a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Unit.

The Zhangcun Vernacular Architecture is located in Zhangcun Township, Jiangshan City, dating back to the Qing Dynasty and the Republican era.

On January 7, 2011, it was designated as part of the sixth batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units.

Zhangcun Township: Located in the southeastern part of Jiangshan City, Zhangcun Township is 28 kilometers from downtown Jiangshan. It covers an administrative area of 135.4 square kilometers, with forested land spanning 182,099 mu and arable land of 6,393 mu. It is a remote mountainous township in Jiangshan. The township governs 23 administrative villages, 144 villager groups, 117 natural villages, 3,819 households, and a population of 12,906, with a total of 6,718 rural laborers. In 2004, the total industrial and agricultural output value of the township was 85 million yuan, including 53 million yuan from industry and 32 million yuan from agriculture, with an average per capita income of 1,793 yuan for farmers...
