Tomb of Miao Zhongchun is located at the southern end of Zhongshan South Road in the urban area, on the south side of Shunguo Spring. The tomb faces north and backs onto Yushan Mountain. The burial mound has a diameter of 2.6 meters and a height of 1.3 meters. At the back stands a stele erected during the 1986 restoration, inscribed with “Tomb of Miao Zhongchun, Renowned Physician of the Ming Dynasty.” The site is enclosed by an outer wall, and the tomb path is approximately 32 meters long. The *Changzhao Combined Gazetteer* by Yan Rusu of the Qianlong era in the Qing Dynasty records: “The hermit Miao Xiyong’s tomb is at Poshan.” The *Suzhou Prefecture Gazetteer* states: “Miao Xiyong had no descendants and once donated fields to the monks of Xingfu Temple for tomb maintenance.” Miao Zhongchun (1546–1627), also known as Xiyong, with the courtesy name Mutai, was a renowned physician of the Ming Dynasty and a member of the Donglin Party. He authored works such as *Commentary on the Classic of Materia Medica* and *Extensive Notes from the Xianxing Studio*. It was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Changshu City in November 1982.
