Jiangsu National Security Education Museum

The Jiangsu National Security Education Museum is the first independent museum in China approved for construction by the Ministry and the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the provincial government. It is open to the public and focuses on the glorious history of the Party’s covert struggles and typical cases of international espionage today. It has been named a “National Security Education Base” by the Ministry and a “Jiangsu Patriotic Education Base” by the Publicity Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China.

The museum is located on the eastern side of the central axis of the Nanjing Yuhuatai Martyrs' Cemetery, a nationally renowned patriotic education base. It stands adjacent to the majestic and sacred Monument to Revolutionary Martyrs, covering an area of over 3,000 square meters with an exhibition space of more than 1,800 square meters. The main structure of the building features two overlapping circles, resembling the sun and the moon, symbolizing that the national security cause under the Party’s leadership shines as brightly as the sun and moon.

The exhibition inside the museum consists of seven sections: the front hall, the prelude hall, four main exhibition areas, and the final hall. The display employs historical restoration and scene recreation techniques, utilizing multimedia, sound, light, electricity, set designs, and props to allow visitors to relive history and immerse themselves in the experience, making the learning process intuitive and profound.
