Huangshan Fort

Huangshan Fort is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Located in the Huangshan Scenic Area of Jiangyin, also known as the Jiangyin Fortress. Huangshan Fort has been renowned as the "Gateway to the River" and the "Strategic Fortress for Navigation," serving as a military stronghold since ancient times.

Today, it has become a picturesque tourist destination. During the Mid-Autumn Festival each year, the surging river tides create a spectacular sight, which is one of Jiangyin’s famous Eight Scenic Spots — "Autumn Tides at Huangshan." The Yangtze River’s largest highway bridge — the Jiangyin Yangtze River Highway Bridge — also stands here and can be viewed from above.

In May 2013, the State Council (State Council Document [2013] No. 13) announced Huangshan Fort as a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.
