The Weigang Hot Springs in Zhenjiang is one of the few purely natural "radon-strontium composite springs" in China. Located at the foot of Gaoli Mountain southwest of Zhenjiang, it is a "heaven-sent treasure" of this ancient and picturesque city. The spring originates 200 meters underground in the Weigang Iron Mine and has been flowing historically, with a daily discharge of 3,000 tons. The water temperature remains constant at 50°C, and the water is crystal clear. The mineral content of the spring water is particularly rich, containing over 30 elements beneficial to the human body, giving it highly unique therapeutic value. In August 2005, it was rated as a "medical thermal mineral spring" by the China Geothermal Development and Management Committee.

The hot spring resort currently covers an area of more than 200 acres and has eight operational areas open to the public: the Floating Jade Pool, River Sky Pool, Sweet Dew Pool, Dream Stream Pool, Spring Garden, Business Villas, Fishing Center, and Hot Spring Villa. It offers a variety of services including standard swimming lanes, health and wellness soaking, outdoor sandy water play, villa chess and card leisure, fish therapy with little fish, fashionable and cozy floral baths, therapeutic spa bathing, and children’s playground slides. Additionally, it provides a full range of services such as fishing, conferences, dining, and accommodation, capable of hosting business and tourist groups of various sizes and levels.

The hot springs are located within the Zhenjiang Weigang Iron Mine, nestled among green mountains and situated near the Beijing-Shanghai Railway and the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway. It lies within the one-hour metropolitan area of Nanjing, with the high-grade highways from Yangzhou and Zhenjiang to Lukou (Provincial Highway 243) passing through the area. It is 10 kilometers from the Runyang Yangtze River Bridge and 19 kilometers from downtown Zhenjiang. The city's No. 22 bus route has its terminal stop right here, making transportation very convenient.
