Chishan Lake National Wetland Park

Chishan Lake National Wetland Park is a national water conservancy scenic area and a national wetland park.

Chishan Lake National Wetland Park is located in the southwestern part of Jurong City, Jiangsu Province, 15 kilometers from downtown Jurong and 40 kilometers from downtown Nanjing.

Situated in the southeastern part of Chishan Mountain, it stretches north to Provincial Highway 243, south to Xixu, east to Qingcheng Laoqiao, and west to Lutingxu. Surrounded by rivers, it includes Sancha Lake, Bai Shui Dang on the west side, and the polder area on the north side, with a total area of 1,300 hectares.

It forms an ecological pattern characterized by “vast lakes, encircling rivers, interwoven shoals, and dotted islands,” making it China’s first national wetland park featuring Chishan green waters, the purest skyline in the Jiangnan region, and a natural wetland biodiversity park in Jiangsu. It is also known as the “First Lake of the Qinhuai River.”

From Nanjing

From Nanjing, take the Nanjing–Hangzhou Expressway (G25) toward Hangzhou, exit at Guozhuang Toll Station (near Nanjing Eastern Suburbs Outlets). From Ma'anshan

From Yangzhou
