Jurong City's Rongnan Scenic Eco-Park is located 2.5 kilometers along the Jumao Road in Huayang Town, Jurong City, covering an area of 1,280 mu. It is now within the Nanting Administrative Village of Huayang Town. The site lies on the main route to Mount Mao, just a 3-minute drive from the city center. Several major roads such as National Highway 104 and the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway pass through here, making transportation very convenient. Jurong City is adjacent to major cities such as Nanjing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, and Zhenjiang (it’s only a 30-minute drive to Nanjing and just a 2.5-hour drive to Shanghai), and is a key area for opening up to the outside world in China’s coastal regions and the Yangtze River Delta.

The park boasts beautiful natural scenery, with land consisting of 110 mu of paddy fields, 210 mu of dry land, and 960 mu of barren hillside land, totaling over 1,280 contiguous mu. The park features farming facilities including pigsties, chicken coops, organic fresh fruit zones, organic vegetable areas, fishing spots, and an eco-restaurant, among other rural leisure and sightseeing tourism projects. In the latter part of 2016, the park plans to add a resort hotel and related recreational facilities. The hotel will offer various grades of guest rooms, and the guest lounge area will also include entertainment and leisure amenities. With its beautiful environment, fresh air, and first-class service, visitors can enjoy a warm and comfortable holiday.

The agricultural sightseeing tourism projects of Rongnan Scenic Eco-Park are divided into seven zones.

High-Quality Forestry, Fruit, and Flower Zone: Covering 700 mu, including 500 mu of fruit economic forests and 200 mu of flower and seedling gardens. This includes peach orchards, pear orchards, grapevines, and strawberry picking gardens.

Modern Agriculture Zone: A 200-mu fruit and vegetable planting garden, mainly featuring specialty vegetables and pollution-free organic produce. There is also a 10-mu seedling breeding area.

Breeding Zone: Primarily focused on eco-friendly breeding under forest canopies, including artificially raised chickens, ducks, and geese, located in fruit tree gardens and green plant areas to explore forest-under breeding models.

Pastoral Experience Zone: Spanning 150 mu, this zone mainly includes the park’s eco-parking lot, archery field, waterside restaurant, grass-skiing area, and barbecue zone, as well as boat riding and balance bike activities.

Four-Season Fragrant Plant Zone: Built upon the existing infrastructure of Rongnan Scenic Eco-Park, this zone features woody aromatic plants as the main focus. It includes a well-planned arrangement of arboreal, shrub, vine, floral, and herbal fragrant plants in space, and achieves the characteristic of blooming flowers and year-round fragrance across all four seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

Conference Zone: The park has established a conference center and leisure club, occupying 80 mu.

Holiday Accommodation Zone: The Rongnan Guesthouse Hotel is currently under planning and is expected to be completed in 2016 to better serve tourists looking for leisure and vacation.

The park employs scientific methods for the eco-friendly breeding of black pigs, sika deer, and free-range poultry such as chickens, ensuring the food produced is safe and green.

The park’s eco-restaurant covers an area of more than 2,000 square meters and can accommodate 500 diners at once. The dining environment is exceptional, with evergreen scenery all year round. There are rockeries with fountains and small bridges over flowing water. Dining here feels like being in the midst of nature.

Most of the cuisine in the park uses self-raised and self-grown agricultural products, which are green and pollution-free, ensuring a direct farm-to-table experience that guarantees freshness and authentic flavor. Signature dishes such as hand-held chicken and potstickers are crowd favorites that guests never tire of ordering.
