Oil Depot Mound (Youkudun Tumulus)

The Oil Depot Mound is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangsu Province.

The Oil Depot Mound is located on Jiangliang Mountain in Jianbi Town, Jingkou District, Zhenjiang City, dating back to the Western Zhou to Spring and Autumn periods.

The Oil Depot Mound is situated southeast of the Jianbi Oil Depot and southwest within Zhongsheng Grain and Oil Company. It is 50 meters north of Linjiang West Road and 350 meters from the Yangtze River. Designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Zhenjiang City, a protection marker has been erected 15 meters southeast of the mound’s base. The geographical coordinates of this site are: 119°35′51″ east longitude, 32°10′48.5″ north latitude. The mound is situated on a hillside, shaped like a steamed bun, circular in plan with a diameter of 60 meters and a height of 8 meters. The mound is overgrown with mixed trees and dense vegetation.

On December 19, 2011, the People's Government of Jiangsu Province listed it as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units.
