The Five-Courtyard Ming Dynasty Complex is located on the southwestern slope of Chuwang Mountain in Dapeng Town, Tongshan. Legend has it that it was built by Wang Yanling, the Prime Minister of the Ming Dynasty. The complex follows the contour of the mountain, and most of the structures are made from blue bricks, stone walls, and small tiles, featuring a unique style and majestic grandeur that is truly rare to see. Especially noteworthy are the wood carvings and decorative patterns above the gate of the first courtyard, which are strikingly lifelike. The dragon beast heads and skyward-gazing fierce dogs on the eaves demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship, rich cultural heritage, and the distinctive architectural style of the Ming era. The mounting and dismounting platforms in front of the main gate still remain. Towering ancient trees grow both inside and outside the complex, and the century-old pomegranate orchard in Baomiao is lush and thriving.

This building is currently well preserved. Nearby attractions include: the Han Tombs of Chuwang Mountain, the Thousand-Buddha Ancient Cave, the Ancient Tang Dynasty Locust Tree, and the Buddhist Pagoda.
