The “Pinkoi Lane Taipei East District Contemporary Art Exhibition” is turning 10 this year. The 2015 *Pinkoi Lane* runs from July 25 to September 20. In honor of the number “ten” as a symbol of endurance and exploration, the tenth edition has chosen ten distinct types of spaces across Taipei East District to serve as artistic hubs. It brings together nearly thirty works by domestic and international artists, created through a locally inspired perspective, sparking renewed dialogue across different times and spaces—ushering in a fresh chapter for Taipei’s cultural and artistic scene.

Since its inception, the *Pinkoi Lane Taipei East District Contemporary Art Exhibition* has held ten open-air exhibitions over fifteen years, committed to making art part of everyday life and elevating daily life through art. It has featured over 500 unique venues, collaborated with 550 domestic and international artists, and showcased close to 1,000 artworks. Pinkoi Lane is a dialogue between art and space, offering an authentic taste of daily life infused with creativity—allowing every visitor and local in Taipei to stumble upon art spontaneously even on a hot summer afternoon.

This year, the exhibition area has further embraced spatial regeneration and intervention. Historic residences and old apartment buildings—Tóngshān Juànshè (Copper Mountain Garrison) and Dà’ān Jiù Dǐ (Old Dà’ān Residence)—have temporarily paused urban redevelopment during the exhibition period to serve as pop-up venues. Through the ethical reuse of urban spaces, the project gives back to local neighborhoods, fulfills corporate social responsibility, and rekindles reflection on the relationship between people and place.

In celebration of its tenth anniversary, *Pinkoi Lane* has also reached another major milestone. The Fubon Art Foundation has partnered with Google Cultural Institute’s virtual museum, successfully bringing *Pinkoi Lane* to the cloud and making it Asia’s first online open-air art museum—and the only Taiwanese institution after the National Palace Museum to receive such certification. Cloud technology has given new definition and dimension to the concept of open-air museums, allowing anyone to transcend borders and time to appreciate *Pinkoi Lane*. The collective digital memory of *Pinkoi Lane*, now stored on Google Cloud, features nearly 400 artworks available online in the first wave, with past highlights, installations, and interviews accessible via guided virtual tours.
