The Wang Yaozhai Monument is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Wang Yaozhai Monument is located on the east bank of the Yanhe River in Zhangdian Town. It was built in the 31st year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty to commemorate Wang Yaozhai, the prefect of Haizhou, who personally came to Zhangdian Town to suppress bandit uprisings. The inscription reads: "We regret that you came late and left early; we rejoice that you eradicated violence and brought peace to the good; we are grateful for your tireless diligence; we respect your extraordinary courage." The stone tablet is 2 meters long and 0.7 meters wide, engraved with the six seal script characters “Wang Yaozhai Departure Memorial Stele” (王耀斋去思碑) in intaglio. There were originally three stone tablets, but only two remain today.

Zhangdian Town: In the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, a Shandong merchant named Zhang Zhi led his three brothers far from their hometown to establish an inn in Zhangdian. Due to the thriving business and widespread fame, the locals commonly referred to it as “Zhang Family Inn.” Before long, it naturally developed into the town of Zhangdian.

Zhangdian Town is located 15 kilometers north of the county seat and serves as the northern gateway to Guannan County. The Ninglian and Shenchang highways run through the area, while the Yanhe and Guanhe rivers crisscross within it, offering highly convenient land and water transportation. The town covers an area of 59.17 square kilometers, governs 13 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committee, 177 villager groups, 8,760 households, and a population of 37,900, with cultivated land area...
