Weishu Temple Bridge

Weishu Temple Bridge is a cultural relic protection unit of Changzhou City.

Weishu Temple Bridge is located at the southeast corner of Qingfeng Park in Zhonglou District. The bridge is a single-arch stone structure with vertically aligned, segmented, and parallel construction. A long slab stone is set in the middle of the steps to accommodate the passage of wheelbarrows and similar vehicles. Both sides of the bridge are inscribed in relief with regular script characters reading “Weishu Temple Bridge.” On the east side, to the right of the bridge name, there is an inscription in relief regular script that reads “Reconstructed in the 5th Year of the Republic of China (1916).”

On March 25, 2018, the People’s Government of Changzhou Municipality designated Weishu Temple Bridge as part of the seventh batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units in Changzhou.
