The former site of the Xu Family Ancestral Hall in Jiaoxi is a cultural heritage protection unit of Changzhou City.

The former site of the Xu Family Ancestral Hall in Jiaoxi, located at No. 10, 12, and 14 Xihetou Road, Jiaoxi Village, Zhenglu Town, Tianning District, was built during the Qing Dynasty and was adjacent to the original "Shi Family Ancestral Hall." The two ancestral halls originally had a three-courtyard layout, but only the third courtyard remains today. It faces Xihetou and consists of five rooms over two floors. In the early years of the founding of the People's Republic of China, both ancestral halls served as the district government offices, and later they became the site of the Jiaoxi Commune and the township government.

Zhenglu Town: Zhenglu Town has a long history. The Sidun Site in Sanhuangmiao Village, located in the southern part of the town, has yielded a large number of artifacts through multiple excavations, confirming that our ancestors lived and thrived here more than 5,000 years ago, creating an advanced stage of the Liangzhu culture and forming the embryonic form of a “state.”
