The ancient bridge cluster on Longxi River in Jiaoxi is a protected cultural heritage site of Jiangsu Province.

The ancient bridge cluster on Longxi River in Jiaoxi is located on the Longxi River in Jiaoxi Village, Zhenglu Town, Tianning District. Originally consisting of nine ancient bridges, four remain today, all built during the Qing Dynasty. From north to south, they are Qinglong Bridge, Xian’an Bridge, Zhongshi Bridge, and Sanyuan Bridge—three arched and one flat—arranged in a well-balanced layout. The stone bridges over Longxi River are well-preserved and form an important part of Jiaoxi Village’s spatial pattern of “one river, four bridges, seven streets, two lanes, thirteen alleys, and multiple gated enclosures.”

In 2019, the ancient bridge cluster on Longxi River in Jiaoxi was included in the eighth batch of protected cultural heritage sites of Jiangsu Province.

Zhenglu Town: Zhenglu Town has a long history. The Sidun Site, located in Sanhuangmiao Village to the south of the town, has yielded a large number of cultural relics through multiple excavations, proving that our ancestors lived and thrived here more than 5,000 years ago, creating an advanced stage of the Liangzhu culture and forming the early prototype of a “state.”

Zhenglu Town enjoys a superior geographical location and convenient transportation. The Changjiao Highway and the Changzhou Outer Ring Road run through the town; the Beitan River connects to the Grand Canal in the south and to the Yangtze River in the north; the town center is only 4 kilometers from the Hengshan Interchange of the Shanghai-Nanjing Expressway, 30 kilometers from Changzhou Civil Aviation Airport, with the Shanghai-Nanjing Railway to the south and the Changzhou Port on the Yangtze River to the north...
