Shanghai Oriental Art Center is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Introduction Shanghai Oriental Art Center is located on the north side of Century Avenue in Pudong, with a total construction area of nearly 40,000 square meters. It mainly consists of the Oriental Concert Hall with 1,966 seats, the Oriental Opera House with 1,020 seats, and the Oriental Chamber Music Hall with 327 seats, capable of meeting the needs of various performances such as symphony, ballet, musicals, opera, and drama. The center was designed by the renowned French architect Paul Andreu. The exterior of the entire building features a metal-clad glass curtain wall, while the interior walls are decorated with specially made light yellow, ochre-red, brown, and gray ceramic panels. Viewed from above, the main entrance, the Oriental Chamber Music Hall, the Oriental Concert Hall, the exhibition hall, and the Oriental Opera House resemble five blooming petals, forming a large and beautiful "Phalaenopsis orchid." More than 880 embedded ceiling lights are installed on the roof of the building. When beautiful melodies are played in the concert hall, the lights change and flicker along with the rhythm, making the Oriental Art Center even more dazzling, magical, and dynamic under the night sky.
