Chinese Ethnic Culture Park

The Chinese Ethnic Culture Park is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Introduction: The largest, most comprehensively equipped, and most richly presented cultural landscape in China showcasing the customs, cultures, and arts of various ethnic groups, located adjacent to Shanghai Wild Animal Park. It focuses on exhibiting the architecture, daily life, clothing, cuisine, wedding customs, festivals, songs and dances, and handicrafts of all 56 ethnic groups in China, and organizes them into 10 ethnic holiday villages based on their cultural arts and religious beliefs. In addition, the park features eight special major attractions: the gateway landscape composed of stone forest, waterfall, and a large banyan tree; the central lake with musical fountains, the central performance theater, the sports arena, the conference center, the large seated lotus Guanyin statue, the Ethnic Food City, the Huaxia Shopping City, as well as activities such as horse racing, bullfighting, and cockfighting. The water screen movie here is among the best in China. Transportation: Take Tourist Line 2 (6:30–19:15, every 15 minutes) from Shanghai Stadium, Yuantong Bus (5:30–19:50) from Shanghai Railway Station (Lungmen Hotel), Wan Ye Special Line (6:30–18:30, every 15 minutes) from the Shanghai Stadium Bus Hub, or Yuan Ye Special Line (7:30–10:30, every 30 minutes) from Renmin Square (Chengdu North Road & Dagu Intersection) directly to the park.
