Highlights Located on the western edge of the Pacific Ocean, at the protruding point along the central eastern coast of China in Nanhui County, Lu Chao Port connects to the Yangtze River estuary to the north. All ocean-going and coastal vessels must pass through Lu Chao Port to enter the Yangtze River. With its deep waters and calm waves, it is hailed as the "Cape of Good Hope" of the Western Pacific. Today, Lu Chao Port has formed a fully developed investment environment for transportation, trade, tourism, real estate, and entertainment. Business investors from Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and other regions are competing for space here.

To the north of Lu Chao Port are the Jinjiang Taoyuan, Xishan Resort, and the World Taoyuan Fairyland Resort Center; to the northeast is the World Fragrant Grass House Boutique Collection; to the east is the Cape of Good Hope Resort; and to the west is the Asia East Garden. Along the entire eastern coastline, a unique "point-circle-line" tourism layout of Nanhui will take shape: the wildlife park as the "point"; a "line" extending 10 kilometers northward from Lu Chao Port (including the East China Sea Film and Television Park, Magnolia Resort, Pudong Shooting Amusement Park, Fuji Speedway, and ten-thousand-mu peach orchard); and a "circle" centered on Lu Chao Port, connecting directly to islands such as Putuo Mountain, Shengsi, and Zhoushan. Together, these form Shanghai’s “back garden.”
