The Nanhui Museum is a patriotic education base.

The Nanhui Museum has a total construction area of 3,510 square meters, with an exhibition hall area of 1,500 square meters, including a permanent exhibition area of 1,000 square meters, divided into four sections: the first showcases the land formation process of the Shanghai region, titled "Shanghai Land Formation and Ancient Seawalls in Nanhui"; the second is based on the Yuan Dynasty's "Ao Bo Tu" and displays the salt-making history of Nanhui, titled "Boiling the Sea to Make Salt"; the third reflects the unique local marriage customs of Nanhui, titled "Wedding Customs"; the fourth introduces notable figures such as Fu Lei and Wu Zhongchao. The 500-square-meter temporary exhibition hall will continue to host distinctive and influential exhibitions.

The Nanhui Museum is a national public institution integrating collection, preservation, exhibition, and research, serving as a base for patriotic and revolutionary tradition education.
