Clubhouse Introduction: The design of the main clubhouse at Tomson Golf Course was undertaken by renowned Taiwanese architect Chen Yaodong. Course Overview: Tomson Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship-level golf course, built with an investment of 100 million USD. As the only world-class championship golf course within Shanghai’s city limits, it frequently hosts various international golf tournaments. The course covers an area of 140 hectares, with a green coverage rate as high as 97%, offering fresh and pleasant air. It features 800,000 square meters of turf, 12,000 trees including camphor and red maple, 30,000 cubic meters of uniquely shaped rocks, 240 varieties of seasonal flowers, 256 rolling hills, and 13 bridges over flowing streams...

Course Layout: The course design is highly challenging and exciting. To create a distinctive character unlike other flatland courses, the course incorporates 30,000 precious trees such as camphor and maple, 30,000 cubic meters of uniquely shaped rocks for landscaping, and 2.5 million cubic meters of earthwork for shaping fairways and bunkers. This results in dappled sunlight through foliage, birdsong, rolling hills, uniquely designed holes, and a perfect balance between strategy and scenery, as well as an engaging blend of playability and aesthetic value. The 18 fairways, with their 360-degree rotational layout and 18 distinct experiences, leave an unforgettable impression on golf enthusiasts.
