Shanghai Disneyland Park, located at No. 310 Huangzhao Road, Chuansha Town, Pudong New District, Shanghai, officially opened on June 16, 2016. It is the first Disney theme park on the Chinese mainland and one of the largest modern service industry Sino-foreign cooperation projects in China. It is a theme park with authentic Disney style infused with Chinese elements.

Covering an area of 1.16 square kilometers, Shanghai Disneyland Park features themed lands including Mickey Avenue, Gardens of Imagination, Adventure Isle, Treasure Cove, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, and Disney·Pixar Toy Story Land. It offers attractions such as the Disney Castle, Marvel Universe, and Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue.

The Disney creative team designed “Mickey Avenue” as the welcoming entrance for Shanghai Disneyland Park, replacing Disney’s nearly 60-year tradition of using a small-town American theme. Beyond the entrance boulevard, Chinese elements can be found throughout the park’s various attractions. The iconic “Enchanted Storybook Castle” features traditional Chinese motifs such as auspicious clouds, peonies, lotus flowers, and Shanghai’s city flower, the magnolia, atop its spires. The Chinese restaurant, Wandering Moon Teahouse, pays homage to the literati and artists who traveled across China with artistic inspiration, drawing on five themes: mountains, oceans, deserts, forests, and rivers, while inheriting the essence of traditional Chinese architectural style. In “Gardens of Imagination,” Disney’s signature carousel was meticulously crafted by Chinese artisans, beautifully interwoven with 72 vibrant colors.

Fantasyland is located in the northern part of Shanghai Disneyland Park and features nine attractions: Enchanted Storybook Castle, Alice in Wonderland Maze, Journey to the Crystal Grotto, Once Upon a Time, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan’s Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mad Tea Party, and Enchanted Tales with Belle Photo Location.

Tomorrowland is situated in the northwest of Shanghai Disneyland Park and includes five attractions: Buzz Lightyear Planet Rescue, TRON Lightcycle / Run – Presented by Chevrolet, Mission: SPACE – Presented by Lenovo, Jet Packs, and Stitch Encounter.

Gardens of Imagination is located in the northern part of Shanghai Disneyland Park and features four attractions: Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Marvel Universe, “it’s a small world” carousel, and Gardens of Imagination Photo Location.

Treasure Cove is located in the northeast of Shanghai Disneyland Park and includes four attractions: Pirate Reef, Pirates of the Caribbean – Battle for the Sunken Treasure, Siren’s Revenge, and Explorer Canoes.

Adventure Isle is located in the southeast of Shanghai Disneyland Park and features four attractions: Soaring: Fantastic Flight, Friendship Boats Photo Location, Roaring Rapids, and Treasure Cove Adventure.

Disney·Pixar Toy Story Land is located in the northwest of Shanghai Disneyland Park and includes three attractions: RC Racer, Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin, and Woody’s Roundup.
