The Aurora Museum is the first private art museum in Shanghai's Lujiazui area, officially opening to the public in October 2013. The museum complex spans six floors with a total area of 6,316 square meters.

The Aurora Museum places equal emphasis on history and art, integrating collection, research, exhibitions, operations, and promotion. Upholding the philosophy of "protecting, inheriting, and dedicating" to Chinese culture, it advocates and promotes the study of ancient artifacts centered around the core concepts of "material, craftsmanship, form, and decoration." It also collaborates with institutions such as the School of Archaeology and Museology at Peking University, striving for continuous improvement on the platform of museum-academia cooperation.

The museum’s collection primarily features Buddhist statues, jade artifacts, pottery, and blue-and-white porcelain. Exhibits are divided into permanent displays and special thematic exhibitions. A dedicated Research Center for Ancient Artifact Studies has been established to not only showcase the achievements of ancient Chinese culture and art but also analyze and study the collections from the perspective of ancient artifact studies, revealing the rich cultural connotations of historical relics to visitors from multiple angles and dimensions.

The Aurora Museum is committed to its cultural mission of giving back to society, striving to create a cultural treasure box on the Huangpu River that embodies the essence of Chinese civilization.
