The Bank of Taiwan Building (No. 16 The Bund)
No. 16 The Bund was originally the Bank of Taiwan Building, also known as the Chinese Farmers Bank Building. It is one of the three historic Japanese-owned buildings on The Bund (the other two being the Nisshin Building at No. 5 The Bund, constructed between 1921 and 1925, and the Yokohama Specie Bank Building at No. 24 The Bund, built from 1923 to 1924).
