Shanghai Cattle Science Museum

The Shanghai Cattle Science Museum serves as a science education base.

The museum has a construction area of 2,500 square meters. It is set in a pleasant environment with fresh air, featuring an indoor exhibition area of 2,000 square meters. Additionally, there is a group cattle square and an outdoor science education activity area of around 2,000 square meters, as well as auxiliary exhibition areas including a robotic milking viewing zone, rotary milking viewing zone, and milk storage room. The museum interprets new concepts in cattle breeding and dairy processing through cutting-edge science and technology, immersing visitors in a knowledge corridor of cattle farming and dairy production via audiovisual and light displays. It also promotes safe milk production and healthy dairy consumption knowledge through films, 3D simulations, Flash animations, as well as interactive activities like quizzes and games.

The entire exhibition is highly scientific, educational, and interactive. While primarily focused on science communication, it also includes comprehensive historical and cultural materials that introduce the development of Shanghai’s cattle farming industry across various historical periods, different feeding methods at various stages of cattle growth, as well as knowledge about cow's milk.
