Expo Pavilion: Urban Planet

The pavilion is located within the Theme Pavilion in Zone B and features a display space primarily composed of two symmetrical spiral ramps. Visitors can overlook a massive spherical dome with a diameter of 32 meters from the top of the ramps. The pavilion includes five exhibition areas: “Urban Sprawl,” “The Road to Crisis,” “The Blue Planet,” “Solutions,” and “We Only Have One Earth.” These sections respectively explore the development of cities and the ecological issues caused by excessive urbanization, showcasing humanity’s awareness, awakening, and efforts regarding urban and environmental challenges. Through emotional interaction with the exhibits, visitors come to understand that cities are both the source of problems and the key to their solutions.
