The "Great Wall Home" Exhibition Hall in Lujiazui Subdistrict serves as a patriotic education base.

The "Great Wall Home" Exhibition Hall in Lujiazui Subdistrict was initially established in September 2005 at the Community Cultural Activity Center, located at No. 120 Qixia Road. After an upgrade in April 2010, its functions were expanded, and it was relocated to No. 180 Rushan Road within Meiyuan Park. Its services also extended to other community service venues to achieve resource sharing. This is a community defense education and "double support" activity venue that combines political, educational, and interactive elements. In September 2008, the "Great Wall Home" in Lujiazui Subdistrict was designated as a "Patriotic Education Base" by Pudong New Area, in September 2009 it was named a "National Defense Education Base for All Citizens" by the Shanghai Municipal Government, and in March 2010 it was awarded the title of "Advanced Unit of National Defense Education for All Citizens" by Shanghai. The "Great Wall Home" frequently organizes activities such as national defense education observation meetings, pre-career training sessions, forums for self-employed cadres, and lecture reports by veteran speakers.

Lujiazui Subdistrict: Named after Lujiazui, the former residence of Lu Shen, a Hanlin academician from the Ming Dynasty. It was formerly known as Lujiazui Road Subdistrict and Zhangjiabang Subdistrict. In 1993, it was transferred from Huangpu District to Pudong New Area. In 1995, the two subdistricts of Lujiazui Road and Zhangjiabang were merged to form the new Lujiazui Subdistrict.
