Academy Homestead is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Located in Lingang New Town on the outskirts of Shanghai, Academy Homestead is a charming agritainment destination. Here, you can experience rural life, enjoy farm-fresh cuisine, and even take part in fruit and vegetable picking — making it a great weekend getaway near Shanghai.

A variety of room types are available here, including farmhouse guesthouses, lakeside standalone villas, garden-view connected villas, and garden-view single rooms. The interiors are fresh and elegant while retaining a rustic charm. Academy Homestead can serve as a base for exploring Lingang. To the north are the Flower Port and the Mikkelsen International Club (a coastal golf club under Agile Group), to the southeast are Dishui Lake and the China Maritime Museum, and further out are the Donghai Bridge and Yangshan Deep-Water Port. You can pick a few spots of interest and plan a one- or two-day tour.
