Yule Bay Ecological Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Yule Bay Ecological Park is located at No. 1688 Sunwang Road, Xinchang Town, Pudong New Area. With convenient transportation, it sits near the Nanhui transport hub on Hu’nan Highway and A2 Expressway. The park is around 35 kilometers from downtown and 25 kilometers from Pudong International Airport. Spanning 350 acres in total, including about 50 acres of water area, it combines natural landscapes, agricultural scenery, fishing environments, and cultural sites, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors from both the city and across the country every year.

Now known as Yule Bay Agricultural Ecological Park, it is recognized as a “National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit & AAA-level Tourist Attraction,” a “Shanghai Peach Blossom Festival Site,” a “Shanghai Expo Farm,” a “Shanghai Recommended Agricultural Tourism Destination,” and one of the tourist attractions in Xinchang Ancient Town. Located at No. 1688 Sunwang Road, Xinchang Town, Pudong New Area, it is close to the Nanhui transport hub on Hu’nan Highway and A2 Expressway. It lies about 30 kilometers (around 40 minutes by car) from downtown, 35 kilometers (about 50 minutes) from the Expo Park, and 25 kilometers (just 20 minutes) from Pudong International Airport—offering highly convenient access.

The park covers 350 acres, including the 100-acre “Yule Lake,” where various fish species such as crucian carp, grass carp, bream, and catfish are bred. There is also a citrus orchard spanning over 50 acres, a Dinosaur Island of more than 20 acres featuring lifelike dinosaur models, an 80-acre Hundred Fruit Garden planted with loquats, pears, peaches, grapes, and other special fruits and vegetables, a 50-acre Hundred Vegetable Garden growing daylilies, Chinese toon, okra, and other unique greens, along with a 50-acre botanical forest.

Yule Bay focuses on leisure vacations, eco-tourism, and business conferences. It offers a range of activities such as ecological fishing, farm-picking experiences, barbecue, leisure board games, and water boating.

The park also features entertainment options like simulated dinosaur performances, archery ranges, fish culture displays, and farming culture exhibits.

The park is well-equipped with infrastructure, providing visitors with fresh farmhouse cuisine and top-quality service. It also includes luxury standard rooms and lakeside villas for overnight stays.

Xinchang Town: Xinchang Town is the last remaining cultural heritage site in Pudong. Its well-preserved and authentic Jiangnan water town features have earned it the reputation of “Little Xinchang Outshines Suzhou.” Whether evaluated from a historical and cultural perspective or viewed as a leisure destination, Xinchang Town is truly unique within Pudong.

The peach orchards of Xinchang are among the main highlights of the annual Nanhui District Peach Blossom Festival. The locally grown “Xinfeng Milu” peaches won the Shanghai Gold Award for Agricultural Products in 2001 and have been granted the China National Origin Label.
