Jinshan City Beach (Jinshan Seaside Bathing Beach) is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Shanghai’s first natural diving spot and the world’s only floating swimming pool at sea.

After physical sedimentation and ecological restoration, the water visibility at Jinshan City Beach can reach up to 6 meters. Most of the seawater quality indicators have met Class I or II standards, with microbial indicators reaching Class II seawater standards, making Jinshan Shanghai’s first natural diving site. Observing every fish in the quiet seabed, listening to each current, learning to communicate with your dive buddy using gestures and eye contact, and experiencing that sense of connection—these are all feelings you can’t get on land or understand without diving beneath the surface.

In addition, Jinshan City Beach also features the world’s only floating swimming pool at sea. Here, you can enjoy swimming alongside schools of small fish. The floating pool is located in the waters directly opposite the beach’s beach volleyball stadium. It is built in the middle of the sea using pontoons, forming a floating pool that is 50 meters long, 25 meters wide, and 1.5 meters deep, surrounded by water on all sides.

The floating swimming pool is one of the latest concepts in global water entertainment, offering crystal-clear water. Take Line 1 to Jinjiang Amusement Park Station, then transfer to either the Shimei Line or Weimei Line at the nearby Southwest Bus Station. It takes about 45 minutes to reach Jinshan Petrochemical, with a fare of 9 yuan. Ticket/Opening Hours: Entry to Jinshan City Beach is free. A sightseeing bus ride to the diving platform costs 10 yuan. The diving program is open year-round.

From the theoretical introduction to the end of the dive takes about 1 hour. The fee is 330 yuan per person, with a maximum depth of 10 meters underwater. Divers must bring their own swimsuits; all other diving equipment is provided by the club.
