Dahua Xingzhi Park is divided into active and quiet zones by the Rainbow Path. The area to the east of the Rainbow Path is primarily dedicated to more intense physical activities, featuring an outdoor swimming pool (combined with a café-music-tea lounge), open indoor sports facilities offering billiards, table tennis, badminton, and two standard tennis courts. The large lawn extending toward the water allows for lawn bowling activities, while natural terrain features include overhead frames and basketball hoops. It’s also a great spot for flying kites. The sandy beach near the water is suitable for beach volleyball. To the west of the Rainbow Path, the park focuses more on leisure activities and traditional offerings, such as a waterside platform, grassy gateball court, forested trails, boating, and a children’s playground.

The park’s plant arrangement not only meets functional needs but also helps frame scenic views. Overall, it achieves the goal of "flowers in spring, shade in summer, fruits in autumn, and greenery in winter." Based on varying requirements for functionality and aesthetics, at the boundary between the park and external spaces, trees such as camphor and magnolia are planted, complemented in some areas by smaller trees and flowering shrubs. The hillsides and waterfront areas feature a rich diversity of plant species. The hills are planted with a mix of multiple tree species, offering vibrant seasonal and color changes.
