Hundred-Year-Old Osmanthus Garden in Fengjing

The Hundred-Year-Old Osmanthus Garden is located in Xingtai Village, Fengjing Town, bordered by National Highway 320 to the north, Xujing Port to the west, and Mizhang Port to the south. It was developed and constructed in October 2003, covering a total area of approximately 2,000 mu. Every September and October, during the peak blooming season of osmanthus, the landscape is filled with lush greens and golden blossoms, with a fragrance that fills the air.

After more than two years of development and construction, the Hundred-Year-Old Osmanthus Garden has seen a total investment of over 60 million yuan. At present, it has initially taken shape with an ecological theme as its main framework. The garden now boasts over 2,200 precious trees aged over 100 years, including osmanthus, camphor, and ginkgo. Within the garden, 11 kilometers of gravel roads and over 300 meters of cement roads have been built, and various facilities are gradually being completed.

The Hundred-Year-Old Osmanthus Garden makes full use of its existing forest resources to develop it into a forest resort integrating ecological wellness, tourism and entertainment, and leisure vacation. The planned Hundred-Year-Old Osmanthus Garden will feature a central lake with a water surface area of about 30,000 square meters. The entire garden is subdivided into seven scenic areas: the Main Entrance Area, Cultural Area, Forest Resort Area, Entertainment Area, Sports Area, Forest Plant Exhibition Area, and Service Area.

Transportation

Address: Northwest side of Mizhang Port Bridge, on National Highway 320 (Tingfeng Highway), Jinshan District, Shanghai

Take Metro Line 1 to Jinjiang Amusement Park Station, exit left, then take the Fengmei Special Line at Shanghai Southwest Bus Station to the Fengjing Ancient Town Archway Parking Lot. From there, transfer at the same stop to the Jinfeng Line, Fengqi Special Line, XinFeng Line, or Shifeng Special Line, and get off at the Hundred-Year-Old Osmanthus Garden.

Driving route: Inner Ring Elevated Road – Xinzhuang – G60 Shanghai–Kunming Expressway – Fengjing Exit – head toward Tinglin on National Highway 320 – about 200 meters before Mizhang Port Bridge. (Note: Mizhang Port is labeled as Mianzhang Port on some maps)
