Shanghai Stadium

Shanghai Stadium is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Shanghai Stadium is located at 666 Tianyaoqiao Road in Shanghai. It is one of China’s largest and most advanced large-scale outdoor stadiums and one of the city’s iconic landmarks. Covering a land area of 190,000 square meters, with a built-up area of 170,000 square meters and supporting green space of 77,000 square meters, the entire structure has a diameter of 300 meters and a total height of over 70 meters. At its center is a standard north-south oriented football field measuring 105x68 meters, covered with all-season evergreen turf imported from the United States. Surrounding the pitch are nine plastic running tracks manufactured by Italy’s Mondo company. The venue is equipped with a full range of sports facilities suitable for various large-scale competitions. Between the three-tiered circular stands, there are 103 luxury boxes, each featuring floor-to-ceiling glass fronts and 20 dedicated seats just outside their entrances.
