Hengshan Park

Hengshan Park is located at the intersection of Guangyuan Road, Hengshan Road, and Wanping Road, covering an area of 11,900 square meters. It is a free public park. The park’s greenery largely retains its original layout, featuring three century-old camphor trees—two to the west of the main gate and one within the tree clusters on the eastern side of the park. At the center of the park lies a large lawn spanning over a thousand square meters, where tall trees, expansive lawns, shrubs, and flowers form a variety of scenic landscapes.

The predecessor of Hengshan Park was an internal garden established in 1925 by the French Concession Municipal Council on this site. The park’s greenery largely retains its original layout, featuring three century-old camphor trees—two to the west of the main gate and one within the tree clusters on the eastern side of the park.
