Caohejing Development Zone Park is located in the Caohejing New Technology Development Zone in Shanghai, bordered by Yishan Road to the north, Tianlin Road to the south, and Guiguo Road to the west, covering an area of 4.4 hectares.

The park was designed by the Shanghai Landscape Architecture Design Institute, commenced construction in March 1998, and was completed in December 1998. It adopts modern landscape design concepts and follows the principle of adapting to local conditions in its layout. The park features excavated lakes and built-up hills to shape the terrain, creating a new-style garden that embodies ecological landscaping principles, strong artistic aesthetics, rich plant landscapes, and a well-planned spatial arrangement. There are a total of 111 species of plants within the park.

The overall layout of Caohejing Development Zone Park is based on a central axis running from north to south. At the main entrance in the center is an art plaza, which features a sunken structure. To the south of the art plaza lies an artificial lake, with a uniquely designed teahouse and a winding bridge—repurposed from an existing small bridge—serving as focal points across the water. Weeping willows line the lakeside, their branches dipping into the water. Various colorful fish swim in the lake, and when the breeze blows, willow catkins drift onto the surface, joining the playful fish in a scene that is both dynamic and serene.
