As one of the most artistic streets in Shanghai, Wukang Road always offers delightful surprises. Romeo’s Balcony is tucked away along the tree-lined road shaded by French plane trees, quietly breathing in the golden sunlight of the morning.

Shanghai-based female writer Chen Danyan described it in her book *Shanghai – Snow and Moon*, saying, “I don’t know which friend once pointed to it and said, ‘That’s the balcony Romeo climbed,’ and ever since, everyone has called it Romeo’s Balcony. One day, I want to stand here quietly and say, ‘I like you and I love you.’” One day, I will bring someone I love here.
