Daqing Jiudaogou Manchu Folk Culture Park

Lindian County’s Jiudaogou Ethnic Folk Culture Park is a village inhabited by ethnic minorities. In 2000, it was officially designated as an “Ethnic Minority Village” by the city of Daqing. Over time, ancient Manchu culture has been significantly eroded. To explore, protect, and pass on both Manchu and Daur cultures, construction of the Jiudaogou Manchu Folk Culture Park began in 2010. Since its opening, the park has become a base for ethnic tradition and cultural education, adding another great destination in Lindian, Daqing, for sightseeing, entertainment, dining, and shopping.

Covering a land area of 5,000 square meters and a building area of 2,800 square meters, the park follows traditional Manchu architectural styles with a courtyard layout. It features traditional Manchu thatched houses, known for being warm in winter and cool in summer. The courtyard is designed with thatched cottages facing each other, highlighting the charm of the northeastern region, while the front and rear courtyards echo each other with an overall style based on ancient traditions.

Both the northern and southern courtyards house Manchu-style restaurants offering local specialty cuisine to visitors. The park also includes a photography studio, antique shop, performance hall, and Manchu Culture Exhibition Hall. These venues complement the displays in the north and south courtyards through detailed exhibits in production and daily life sections, emphasizing scenes of work and living. The antique shop mainly showcases Manchu clothing, decorations, paintings, calligraphy, books, historical materials, and handicrafts, and also serves as a trading venue. The Manchu restaurants offer signature dishes such as the traditional Eight Dishes and Eight Bowls, as well as hot pot and fish stews.

By Bus: Take a bus from Daqing to Lindian County, then transfer to a taxi or hire a car to reach the park.

By Car: From Daqing, take the Airport Expressway, drive 13.6 km, then enter the Qiqihar exit ramp to join the Suiman Expressway. Drive 85.1 km, exit at Shengli, follow the ramp for 900 meters, then go straight for 540 meters to reach the destination.
