Qixing Peak is located 50 kilometers northwest of the county town. It is a mountain that borders Shuangyashan City and Jixian County, with an elevation of 853 meters, making it the highest peak on the Sanjiang Plain. It earned its name from the seven uniquely shaped peaks that tower into the clouds. During the late Qing Dynasty, many literati composed poems in its praise. One such poem, "Qixing Bathed in Water," reads: "The seven stars dot the sky level with the clouds, the wild green mist too steep to climb. With a long shout into the slanting sunlight, I almost startle the North Star into the cold stream." Climbing to the top offers vast, breathtaking views that soothe the mind and lift the spirit. During the Anti-Japanese War, this area served as a revolutionary base. Today, iron chains aid in the ascent, and it has become a renowned tourist destination in the Jiamusi region. Qixing Peak remains captivating no matter how many times you see it, with picturesque scenery in all four seasons—beautiful vistas await at every turn.
