Tuqiang Forestry Museum

Built in 2005, the Tuqiang Forestry Museum is a microcosm of the development and construction history of the Greater Khingan Mountains forest region. The building covers an area of 1,600 square meters and is divided into four exhibition halls.

The first hall uses a panoramic sand table of Tuqiang Forestry and future construction models to preview the development and future of Tuqiang; the second hall immerses visitors in the picturesque, vast forests through forest landscape displays, simulates the timber production process, and uses a dynamic and model-based exhibition method to recreate vivid scenes of timber harvesting, debarking, yarding, loading, and logging site cleanup; the third hall is a physical exhibition hall that showcases the development and changes in forestry production over the past nearly 50 years through a large number of artifacts; the fourth hall is a photo exhibition hall that introduces rapidly emerging successor industries such as refined timber deep processing, green food development, specialty breeding products, and the development of northern medicinal herbs.

Self-driving Route: From Mohe County, drive 25 km along S207, take the 3rd exit and turn left onto Guangming Road, drive 510 m along Guangming Road, turn left onto Haiwen Street, drive 180 m along Haiwen Street to reach the destination
