Beichui Pavilion

This pavilion was completed at the same time as the “Beichui Sentinel.” The three characters “北陲亭” (Beichui Pavilion) were inscribed by Chen Lei, the former Governor of Heilongjiang Province. At the time, Yang Shangkun, former Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, Chen Lei, Governor of Heilongjiang Province, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Commander of the Shenyang Military Region—, Political Commissar Liu Zhenhua of the Shenyang Military Region, the Secretary of the Daxing’anling Prefectural Party Committee, the Director of the Forestry Administration, the Commander and Political Commissar of the Daxing’anling Military Sub-district, the Secretary and County Magistrate of Mohe County, the Head of the Armed Forces Department, and leaders of the garrison troops jointly presided over the grand unveiling ceremony for the “Beichui Pavilion” and the “Beichui Sentinel.” This pavilion has now become an ideal resting spot for travelers after long journeys.
