The former site is now located at No. 6 Xinmin Street, serving as the Norman Bethune Medical College of Jilin University. The building was constructed in 1935. The entire structure is cruciform in shape and made of reinforced concrete. The main entrance faces west, and the main body has three floors with one basement level. At the center stands a tower that also has three floors. The lower level of the tower features arched windows, while the second and third levels have strip windows. The upper middle section of the main building is adorned with hip-and-gable roofs, horse-tail ridges, and double eaves. The front of the lobby is spacious and bright, with three L-shaped columns on each side at the front, and the canopy above is decorated with sapphire-blue glazed tiles, featuring single-city-style railings. The first floor of the main building has arched windows. The entire building is faced with dark sienna-colored ceramic tiles. The central section rises one-third higher than the main body and is covered with pristine white ceramic tiles. The tower top, roof, and eaves are all adorned with sapphire-blue glazed tiles. The total construction area is 16,328 square meters. The building has been designated as a municipal-level key cultural relic protection unit. In its early days, the Puppet Manchukuo was initially housed in the Russo-Asiatic Bank, then moved the same year to the old uniform factory on Wuma Road in the commercial district. It later relocated to the Second Hall of Datong Square (now the Public Security Bureau), and in 1936, it moved to its current site at No. 6 Xinmin Street, the former Puppet Manchukuo building.
