The Former Site of Changchun Film Studio Museum is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Former Site of Changchun Film Studio Museum was meticulously restored by Changchun Film Group on the basis of fully preserving the original 1937 “Manchukuo Film Association” buildings, adhering to the principle of “restoring the old as it was.” It serves as an artistic shrine documenting the founding, development, prosperity, and transformation of Changchun Film Studio. With a total construction area of 46,137 square meters, the museum presents multiple themes such as film art, props, special effects, techniques, and production through the preservation of artifacts, art exhibitions, and interactive film experiences.

The Former Site of Changchun Film Studio Museum includes the Changchun Film Art Gallery, the Studio Exhibition Area, the Film Processing Workshop Exhibition Area, the Changchun Cinema, the Changchun Concert Hall, and the adjacent Changchun Cultural Street.

The Former Site of Changchun Film Studio Museum has a construction area of 37,549 square meters, encompassing the original main office building, studios, and film processing workshops. Through artifact preservation, art exhibitions, and interactive film displays, it showcases various themes including film art, props, special effects, techniques, and production. The site also features the Film Processing Workshop Exhibition Area, an art cinema, a themed concert hall, and the surrounding Changchun Cultural Street. The museum truthfully and objectively reflects the pioneering history and development of Chinese cinematic art, comprehensively displaying the cultural and historical achievements of Changchun Film Studio over the decades.

The Art Gallery unveils lesser-known behind-the-scenes stories and historical materials of Changchun Film Studio, which made groundbreaking contributions to the growth and prosperity of China’s film industry. For the first time, it systematically and comprehensively discloses the “Seven Firsts” of Chinese people’s cinema, along with previously unreleased precious video footage, photographs, and historical artifacts. With rich and innovative exhibition formats, it offers a panoramic display of Changchun Film Studio’s glorious journey and artistic accomplishments.
