Qingshi Town Martyrs' Cemetery

Qingshi Town Martyrs' Cemetery is located on a small hillside 400 meters northwest of Qingshi Village, Qingshi Town, Ji'an City. The cemetery covers an area of 1,332 square meters. In April 1984, the People's Government of Qingshi Town erected a monument in the cemetery. This monument is a three-tiered tablet-style memorial, with a two-tier base. The main body of the monument stands 2 meters tall, the tablet is 1.5 meters high and 0.52 meters wide. The top of the tablet is inlaid with a red five-pointed star. The front of the monument is inscribed vertically with the following inscription: "The Fourth Column of the Fourth Field Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. Revolutionary martyrs shall live on forever." The back of the monument reads: "In the winter of 1946, our Fourth Column of the Fourth Field Army carried out a strategic relocation. When we reached Xinkailing in Kuandian County, Liaoning Province, we completely annihilated the 25th Division of the 52nd Army of the Kuomintang. During the battle, 32 soldiers of our army sacrificed their lives heroically. The martyrs who died for the country shall live on forever. Their revolutionary spirit will shine as brightly as the sun and moon, and endure as long as heaven and earth."

Buried here are 32 martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the Liaoning Xinkailing Campaign in the War of Liberation.

Located close to Qingshi Town with convenient transportation, this site is easily accessible for visits and serves as an important educational base for both the city and the Qingshi Town government.
