Martyrs' Tower in Qinghe Town serves as a patriotic education base.

Martyrs' Tower in Qinghe Town is situated on a small hillside about two li southwest of Renhe Village, Qinghe Town, Ji'an City. It was built in July 1970 and is mainly made of poured concrete. The 3-meter-tall structure consists of a three-tiered stepped tower with two base layers, featuring a flat, columnar main body adorned with a five-pointed star. Behind the tower are buried 52 martyrs, covering a cemetery area of 700 square meters. The front of the tower is inscribed with the words “Martyrs’ Tower,” while the right side bears the engraving: “Eternal Glory to Revolutionary Martyrs.” The left side is inscribed with: “Great in Life, Glorious in Death.”

This martyrs' tower was erected by the Revolutionary Committee of Renhe Commune (now Renhe Village) to commemorate the 52 martyrs, including Xu Huaxuan and Feng Mingsu, who heroically fought against the Kuomintang reactionary forces in Xiaohuanggou, Renhe, and other areas during the “First Defense of Linjiang” campaign in January 1947, and made the ultimate sacrifice.

The martyrs' tower is an important site for patriotic education by Ji'an City and Qinghe Town governments.
