Guide The narrow slit at Tianhuo Peak is said to have been cleaved by Yu the Great when he tamed the floods. Most of the rocks on the peak are reddish in color, resembling two dragons coiled around each other. At the foot of Tianhuo Peak, there are lakeside attractions such as Two Swallows Viewing Stone, Camel Hump Rock, and Black Bear Facing the Sky. Visitors can reach the summit by walking from Bu Tian Stone through Niulang Ferry, crossing the Valve, and then ascending the pile of fallen rocks north of the former site of Bagua Temple. Standing at the top of the peak, looking out over the distance, visitors can see the surrounding peaks mirrored in the water, with gentle waves stretching far and wide — a breathtaking view that captivates travelers. Introduction Tianhuo Peak stands at an elevation of 2,620 meters on the eastern bank of the Second White River, facing off against Longmen Peak. It earned its name because “the peak rises with twin points, with a narrow cleft in the middle, offering a sudden, awe-inspiring sense of openness that defies imagination.”
