Feature 1

Feitian Mountain Scenic Area

The source of Daxitaihe Scenic Area consists of nine natural springs gushing from underground, known as the "Nine-Star Springs." These springs continuously spout crystal-clear, sweet-tasting water rich in various trace elements essential to the human body, making it an ideal drinking water source.

Feature 2

Lush forests line both banks, creating a tranquil and shaded environment — it is one of the best-preserved primeval forests on Changbai Mountain. The forest is home to precious tree species such as Korean pine, purple linden, yew, rowan, and Manchurian ash, as well as various types of fungi, wild fruits, and herbaceous plants. This place is both magical and picturesque, with many wonderful and touching legends.

The scenic area features attractions such as the "Ladder River" waterfall group, the Eight Brothers Tree of the Yang Family, the Seventh Sister Waterfall of the Goddess, the Ginseng Guardian Tree, Mother Pine Tree, the Mountain God Altar, the Eighth Sister Waterfall of the Goddess, the Ninth Sister Waterfall of the Goddess, the Anti-Japanese Coalition Stone, the Honey Tasting Pavilion, the Century-Old Pine and Birch Love, and the Destiny Bridge.

Located 6 kilometers southeast of Huangsongpu Forest Farm on Changbai Mountain, Jilin Province. Daxitaihe is a transliteration of the Manchu word "Xitaha," which refers to a type of cold-water fish. This river was once abundant with these large fish, hence the name "Daxitaihe" (Big Fish River).

The river stretches approximately 2 kilometers, winding through the landscape with multiple waterfalls and springs. The cascading waters flow like steps, with clear ripples and misty spray resembling a fine drizzle. Walking along the wooden boardwalks, you can admire the charm of this mystical water and even touch the falls to feel the wonder of nature. The forest is home to precious tree species such as Korean pine, purple linden, yew, rowan, and Manchurian ash, as well as various types of fungi, wild fruits, and herbaceous plants.

This place is both magical and picturesque, with many wonderful and touching legends. The fresh air, rich in negative oxygen ions, is hailed as a "natural forest oxygen bar."

Rafting on the "Daxitaihe River" offers endless fun and is known as the "Number One Rafting Experience on Changbai Mountain." Daxitaihe Scenic Area is the closest to Changbai Mountain and features the most pristine ecological environment, making it an ideal destination for sightseeing, deep mountain exploration, and forest adventures.
