Diaoshuihu Waterfall is situated on the middle reaches of the Sandao Gully River, about 40 kilometers northeast of Hunchun City, at the foot of Xuedai Mountain. It gets its name from the river being blocked by large rocks, forming a natural waterfall and a lake surface spanning over a thousand square meters.

The waters of Diaoshuihu Waterfall flow swiftly with vigorous waves, surrounded by high mountains, dense forests, and deep valleys. In spring, the green mountains come alive, filled with birdsong and floral fragrance; in summer, the lush reflections shimmer as the clear waters rush forth; in autumn, clusters of bright red maple leaves dot the green mountains and blue waters, creating a vibrant, colorful scene that is truly refreshing to the soul. Nowadays, it is hailed as the “Jiuzhaigou of the North” and is a great destination for sightseeing, inspiration-seeking, and vacationing.
